We just released the updated ICCA 16th Annual Summit Agenda with more information on this year’s speakers and we can’t wait for the educational opportunities they will offer. The 16th Annual ICCA Summitt will be at the Napa Valley Marriot Hotel & Spa from June 24 – 27. Chef Chris Cosentino will be on the ICCA Kitchen Stage during the opening general session on Sunday, June 24th. He will also be available to personalize his signed cookbook during the opening reception that night. His new restaurant Acacia House in St. Helena is amazing and along with his Cockscomb Restaurant in San Francisco, he is one of the leading trend setters in Northern California. That restaurant will be a stop on a Culinary Road Trip going to the northern parts of Napa Valley to meet legendary winemakers. Simon Majumdar, a regular personality on Food Network shows like Cutthroat Kitchen and Iron Chef America, will shed light on his trend observations from his extensive global travels.
We have Raymond Rolander, a Sonoma wine expert leading a tour to Healdsburg to showcase the amazing wines from Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley including lunch created by a Stars alumni Colleen McGlynn, a partner in Davero Vineyards. Plus Barry Wiss of Trinchero Family Estates will host an educational program featuring his Aroma Wheel of Fortune. This is a portion of his Vine to Dine ® program, the industry’s most creative and innovative culinary and wine education training tool.
Food Robotics have become a viable option to help meet your staffing needs and Dr. Deepak Sekar, CEO and Founder of Chowbotics, will explain help explain the new staff of the future. Cathy Nash Holley – Publisher, Editor in Chief and Owner of Flavor & The Menu and Maeve Webster – President of Menu Matters will host a joint discussion covering new ways to meet the younger consumers’ “cravability” needs.

The Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa is close to the amazing restaurants in Napa, Yountville and St. Helena, plus just a short distance to the town of Sonoma. It was recently totally redesigned and the Executive Chef Francisco Aguilar will be creating a feast for our receptions in their Redwood Grove and Garden Court using ICCA sponsor products and fresh items from their heirloom gardens he designed and built. Of course the finest wines from Napa and Sonoma Valley will play a major role in our networking events at the hotel. Each evening will end with the restaurant of your choice as a part of the ICCA Summit Dine Around Series compliments of our ICCA sponsors.
