This is the second restaurant from James and Julie Petrakis, their first restaurant is the Ravenous Pig also in Winter Park. Cask & Larder is about to celebrate their first year anniversary. The broad menu celebrates the traditions of the South and they brew their own awesome beers. The food ranges from raw Pacific Northwest oysters to Mains including Fried Chicken, Country Fried Venison and Lamb Ribs. The menu also features an array of salads and snacks including Pimento Cheese, Pork Crostini, Steak Tartar and Country Ham Arancini. Their plate presentations are stunning like this photo of Bourbon-cured Sunburst Farms Trout with beet pudding, rhubarb purée, whipped cream cheese & almond foam. It is almost too pretty to eat! The glass-enclosed brewery sits inside of the bar area and is available for small private parties of 10 or less. The beer choices like Old Southern Wit, a Belgian-Style Wheat Beer; Broken Ladder, an American Pale Ale; Trois Mois Saison made from an old-school traditional Saison recipe are created by Brewer Ron Raike who has 20 years of experience and numerous awards including Best of Show at the 2012 Best Florida Beer Championship. If you have two night in Orlando, treat yourself to one night at "The Pig" and the other at "Cask".

Country Ham Board
Canaveral Shrimp, Toasted Baguette, Wit Beer, Orange Juice, Fennel Pollen and Spicy Peppers
Red Snapper, Smoked Corn Puree, Onion-Pepper Maque Choux and Ham Hock Gravy
