Piccolo Sogno is owned and operated by Chef Tony Priolo who has a long history of Italian fine dining experience in Chicago.  Piccolo Sogno was inspired by the simple, fresh eating of Italy and owners Tony and Ciro wanted to bring that type of dining to Chicago.  Along with a 400+ bottle all Italian wine list, this is an authentic experience you wouldn't want to pass up.

I dined at the bar for lunch and had a fantastic meal.  The service was good and the staff is very knowledgeable.  The dining room has white table cloths but it still has a casual, fresh feel and not that of a fine dining establishment.  The salad was outstanding and the signature ravioli was simple yet flavorful and delicious.  I am a huge fan of squid ink pasta and their's was fantastic and again simple but the seafood was super fresh so it didn't need any dressing up.

CAVOLO NERO- Tuscan kale, radishes, croutons, roasted squash, pomegranate, tossed with lemon parmesan dressing

SPAGHETTI NERI-String cut black spaghetti, mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari, San Marzano tomatoes, red pepper flakes

RAVIOLI “PICCOLO SOGNO”-Four cheese ravioli, pine nuts, butter, Marsala glaze, parmesan shavings
