ICCA Culinary Immersion Nashville; April 6 – 8, 2022

April 6, 2022 @ 5:00 pm April 9, 2022 @ 8:00 am

Nashville is not only the home of Country Music – it is becoming one of the hottest culinary destinations in the USA. From Nashville-native Chef Julia Sullivan at Henrietta Red to Iron Chef and Chopped television host, Maneet Chauhan, you will experience the flavors of the fastest growing metropolis in the South. An ICCA long-time friend, Maneet Chauhan, has an amazing restaurant Chauhan Ale & Masala House, which will be our opening dinner for this immersion so make sure you arrive early on April 6th. Plus, let’s not forget about the famous and legendary chicken restaurant, Hattie B’s, and West Tennessee’s legendary whole-hog BBQ tradition at Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint. You will learn why culinary enthusiasts are changing travel plans to add Nashville to their list. Here is the complete agenda for the ICCA Culinary Immersion Nashville: ICCA Culinary Immersion Nashville Agenda

ICCA Culinary Immersions are some of the best networking events for the highest-ranking new menu developers in the country. This culinary immersion will be unique as we blend the music scene, craft cocktails and good eats into one fun educational event.  Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken is famous for the Righteous Chicken and fluffy, buttermilk and Cheddar biscuits that are made from scratch and filled with savory ingredients ranging from crispy bacon and country sausage to fried green tomatoes. Also, a place that is always bustling with avid foodies waiting to get their hands on their fresh meats smoked daily, delicious sides made from scratch with love, and bread and desserts from local bakeries, Peg Leg Porkers, will be another stop. Owned by Carey and Delaniah Bringle, they have won numerous awards and been honored to cook with some of the top chefs in the world, including cooking at the prestigious James Beard House twice.

A place to be morning, noon, or night, and whether you work or play, socialize or not, it’s up to you at Pinewood Social! Slip on a pair of bowling shoes and see who will bowl the first strike, while you knock down as many pins as you can in their private bowling alley. Afterwards, sip on ingeniously crafted libations as you admire the quirky confines of the Graduate Nashville’s rooftop venture, White Limozeen.

Also, named the Best Whiskey Bar in Tennessee by Thrillist, Gertie’s Whiskey Bar offers over 600 bottles of rate and hard to find whiskeys and has one of the largest whiskey selections in the south! Named for Gertrude Clao Lythgoe, known as ‘Queen of the Bootleggers,’ Gertie’s celebrates freethinking and individualism at the bar and in the glass.  Following the whiskey tasting, you will be inspired by a lifetime of culinary and culturally immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia at Sunda New Asian. The owners of Sunda developed the Sunda concept to celebrate the beautiful fusion of intermingling cultures found on the Sunda Shelf, a landmass, today submerged under shallow seas, that was once surrounded by the many different countries and cultures that they celebrate at Sunda today, like, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China, and more.

From a lively brunch with musical performances at the Dream Nashville, moonshine tasting at the leading craft distiller of moonshine at Ole Smoky and YeeHaw Brewing, to a tour of the oldest print shop in America, Hatch Show Print, you don’t want to miss out of this immersion!
